Wildflower: Finalist in ModPortrait 2024, Spain
I'm proud to share that my painting "Wildflower" was selected as a finalist in ModPortrait 2024, the 12th edition of Spain's international competition dedicated entirely to the figurative portrait. Artists from all over the world enter each year, and only 64 paintings were chosen as finalists, so being included among them is an honor I don't take lightly.
"Wildflower" was then exhibited in 2025 with the other finalists, first in the Sala Gòtica of the Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona, a historic arts society founded in 1881 in the city's Gothic Quarter, from March 24 to April 21, and then at the Auditorio Municipal de Arroyomolinos, just outside Madrid, from May 5 to 31.
